Maybe it's just the bands we follow are different?

Maybe Gacharic Spin is just weird. Wink

What? How could a band with a bonafide alien fairy princess be weird?

A PV sample just dropped.

Oh cool! I have to confess I'd totally forgotten about this in the whole September release frenzy (and this coming from the guy who started the thread Rolleyes but the more the merrier right?

It sounds alright, but the chorus is extremely similar to one of their other songs (forgot the name).

Ah, doesn't surprise me, whilst I obviously like the band I do have an issue with several of their songs sounding seriously samey. Now the thing is, I have such incredible ignorance of the band's roots that I don't know if they're incorporating traditional Japanese melodies into their songs (and therefore this explains their perhaps limited range of melodies) or whether they just haven't got a good sense of variety - or all the individual members want to keep the original songs for their solo albums...

I'm going to skip this one unless people start saying that they put some rock back into the songs. They've been getting more and more mellow with each release so far.
#19
Really? I thought the second album was more mellow than the third one.

Yeah, they had the Japanese folk/Van Halen rip (which is not a phrase I've ever seen before??!) and there was a more gothy number on the most recent album too. Each to their own though.
