Female-fronted symphonic power metal. One of those bands with the dubious honor of having no original members. Despite the weird vocals, I'm quite fond of their debut MCD "Antibes". It brings out a castle atmosphere more than any album I've heard. Michal came on board with the "Aurora" single. Her previous band was Codename:Wingless, which was a bit amateurish (bad drum programming) but was really emotional and I enjoyed it a lot. "Astrolabe in Your Heart" was ok, but I consider it to be the weakest of their albums. "Akashic" is really good though. Took some time to get into, but it has really good musicianship, subtleties and a lot of emotional depth.
I haven't heard their new album yet (which mostly consists of re-recordings of older songs), but I'll have that in the mail soon. There's 3 versions of that one: English, Japanese, and mixed. Each with a different album cover.
