Scarlet Valse - Legendary Place (October 31, 2018)
#1
Scarlet Valse will be releasing their second full-length a mini-album later this year, among other news. Via JaME World:
Quote:First of all, guitarist Raizo officially departed from the band following their performance at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 on July 4th. In a comment posted on Scarlet Valse's official website, Raizo cited a difference in directions as the reason for his departure, but thanked the members, staff and fans for their support during his year and a half with the band. He wrote that he hopes fans will continue to support the band in the future and stated that he will also be cheering Scarlet Valse on along with them.

However, fans did not have to wait long to discover who his replacement would be. Scarlet Valse have already announced that ex-Misaruka guitarist Rin will be taking his place. Rin will play his first show as a member of Scarlet Valse during a free one-man titled Relation of the Different Colors that will be held at Shibuya VUENOS on July 12th to celebrate vocalist Kakeru's birthday.

In addition, Scarlet Valse have announced that they will release a new album titled Legendary Place sometime this fall.

Preview of the "No.6" MV (to be released as a venue-exclusive DVD on the July 12th show):

This is a re-recorded version of a song from Scarlet Valse's first full-length, Genesis (released two guitarists ago in 2014). I don't know if it'll be on the upcoming album, but I wouldn't be too surprised.

I can get behind a new Scarlet Valse album, might be decent.

I've never had any problems with them musically. I'll give a listen for sure.

MV time folks:

Not at all bad, actually.

So it's a mini-album, not a full-length. I can't say I'm too disappointed. Not sure I have the patience to listen to Kakeru's voice for an hour.

It'll cost ¥3,240 and be limited to 500 copies.

Tracklist:
Quote:CD:
1. Holy feast
2. Prayer
3. No.6
4. 獣声
5. Beautiful Beast
6. Angelic Sky

DVD:
1. Prayer(MV)

Maybe one day Scarlet Valse will release something that doesn't have re-recordings of their old music. At least that preview sounds pretty nice.

Come on, don't they have more fans than that? Laugh
Occasionally, I write Western and Japanese music reviews.

That's how they measure who their real fans are Wink

It looks like he rubbed it with a balloon and it's all frizzy with static. Laugh

Also, I see Kakeru has gone the route of the Visual Kei eye-patch now.

Probably just Starwave being underwhelming, low-budget Starwave. I think that's not far from their norm for production quantity.

Solid preview. Isn't this like at least the third release than No.6 has been on though? WTF?!?!?
