[Metalcore] Reasterisk (Re*)/Theo Nova

Another mainstay on Japan's metal circuit. I'd describe them as female-fronted, gothic-tinged metalcore with various influences. Nice vocals too.

Not sure why this got so many downvotes. Maybe due to ads?

And some random live. They got a lot of 'em on youtube.

I've listened to the album on Spotify. I like it. It's in my wishlist to buy, but there are higher priorities.

Its definitely solid. I think I liked the debut MCD a bit more though.

Assuming this is a new song. Not bad at all.

One of the politest mosh pits I've ever seen.

I really like her voice in this song. Shows off her range quite nicely.

"Waltz" from their first MCD (Hades) is quite nice.

They're one of the rare cases I wish they'd dump the harsh vocals.

Sounds OK. This lot are playing at the Octaviagrace/D_Drive show I'm going to so I may check out their stuff just to get a better idea of what they're about.

Another live up:

Not really sure if their material is my kind of thing, but Nanako(?) can definitely hold a tune...

Going from the 3 CDs I have, they're a bit of a clusterfuck and not exactly easy to pigeonhole. They do have a nice atmospheric/gothic side (my favorite) and the metalcore/alternative metal parts aren't obnoxious enough to repulse me. I do wish they'd do away with the harsh vocals though.

They do have some Head Phones President influences, esp. on the latest MCD (which is pretty solid).
