Lovebites - Daughters of the Dawn - Live in Tokyo 2019 (July 10, 2019)

My biggest surprise was seeing Miyako providing the backing vocals (non-MDO yells) rather than Miho.

If I recall correctly, most of the backing vocals at the show in Haarlem were also done by Miyako. But my memory could have gone foggy on me there.

yeah, my memory is also that Miyako does most of the backing vox, with the odd helping hand from Miho, and an even rarer helping hand from Midori.

I don't think Haruna chips in at all on backing vox, but she's so dinky that it's hard to tell...

There's no microphone at her drum kit, or at least not for vocals, so I assume she's not doing any. Doesn't mean it can't be put there if she's needed for one or two songs though.

Midori's mic is probably only there for the gang shouts, I'm guessing she hasn't got the most melodic of voices. Come to think of it, I don't think I have any photos of Midori at the mic from the Lovebites gig in Haarlem...

Of course, the reason I bring it up is because we know Miho is a more than capable backing vocalist... I mean, she backed up Marina in Destrose.

I wonder if this means the female vocals that show up in a few 21g songs are Miyako, as well?

I have not heard it yet, but it would not surprise me if they are. Miyako is definitely melodically gifted, she just doesn't have a lot of power.

Don't think anyone posted this one anywhere yet, so I'm just going to go ahead:

Oh great! Thanks namine! I postponed my acquisition of this, because the yen value sucks at the moment, but this is a nice placeholder.
