The news just keeps piling on. Kamijo has yet another single out on January 16, but more importantly, a new album will come out in March of 2018.

I was wondering when he'd finally get around to releasing "Nosferatu." He's been performing it live since at least mid-2016.

I'm always game for Versailles members other bands' music, Kamijo couldn't think of a better album title than Sang though? Tongue Even Sing works better.

It's the French word for "blood". Did you really expect any better from him? Wink

Oh okay that's better lol. I was thinking of it from an English perspective, like "Kamijo sang on this album".

Neither of you is really surprised, I assume, given that he's had Francophile tendencies all throughout his career? Smile

You're one of the relatively few users of this forum who can read (some) Japanese, so maybe you should consider reading the post you linked in the OP... Wink It literally explains the English/French double meaning. It figures that he'd find a way to make use of his two favorite languages simultaneously. Tongue

Quote:KAMIJO待望のニューアルバム「Sang(サング)」が2018年3月にリリース!

英語で”歌”を意味し、フランス語では”血”という意味も持ちます。

自身の代表作「Symphony of The Vampire」の中で音楽家ベートーベンが主人公ルイに言った「美しい旋律は血の代わりとなる」という言葉にも繋がる重要なキーワードを冠したアルバムとなります。

詳細は後日発表。ご期待ください!

Well we all know that Kamijo is actually Louis XIV (or whichever number it is). Wink
