So I'm really happy with this one. Obviously the main attraction is the demo songs remastered, but you've got the decent instrumental intro by Adachi, then you've got the 4 bonus live tracks on the end which all sound fairly decent, considering the live songs were never recorded with the idea of a reissue in mind. The remastering of the demo songs is quite satisfactory, I didn't expect them to sound like new recordings or anything, but whoever worked on remastering all this over at King Records did restore the audio pretty well.

That's intriguing! Does it say what the source of the demo tracks is (i.e. master 20-track tape, vs. master cassette tape)?

Not that I noticed anywhere in the booklet, it just has song lyrics from what I can tell.

Yeah, it's a very bare bones booklet.

Was kinda hoping someone would be able to dig up a few old photos of the band for it, but I guess not. Tongue Ah well, my ears are happy at least.

Oh yeah I never did comment on this one did I? It's pretty enjoyable stuff with good guitar work. I feel like the vocals bring it down a notch or two though. They're not bad, but I totally get why You would team up with Morrie later.
Occasionally, I write Western and Japanese music reviews.

Yeah, Roza/Koji was never a particularly good singer, though he didn't kill the band at least. That second demo was all skill flexing for Adachi. Koji Doi would get another gig as Cloud Forest's singer on their debut, because Kiyoshi Utsunomiya the bassist and leader of Jesus, Belladonna, and Cloud Forest seemed to like working with former band mates. Haven't heard Cloud Forest's debut, but I believe he improved his singing quite a bit by then.
