[J-Rock] Girls Rock Band Kakumei (ガールズロックバンド革命)
#11
Weirdly enough Junna turned up my YouTube feed earlier today doing 'Canon Rock' (?) here (third up after after Tamu (Ayano) Murata & Mana Fukuda):

Yeah, I've seen a few youtube vids of her, she's pretty good.

I wonder if this band has an acronym like others over there - they sorely need one.

I'm increasingly seeing it with American releases as well, records with Best Buy, WalMart or Target exclusive bonuses. Not sure if that's entirely the same though.

Probably not, since the Japanese ones are just minor external bonuses. But I have seen "best buy"editions with different tracklistings and whatnot. But that's another topic for another thread.

I bet you don't get a cool sticker like I do. Tongue
Occasionally, I write music reviews.

As long as there's nothing vital on them I'm not too concerned. Once you start getting exclusive songs, that's when it gets annoying (I've seen it happen before).

Drumming outside always looks a bit weird when its windy...

Anyone recognise the song?

1st song in the first post.

I still think she may be overqualified for this band, or should be in a metal band.

Overqualified drummers galore in Japan! Hell, even the simplest pop bands seem to have virtuoso drummers there...

Yeah, like the drummer in that Soramini band or whatever doing Dream Theater covers. She's in a prog/shred band now, so at least they got it right the second time.

Honestly I find most girl bands there - even J-Pop ones - tend to have a good rhythm section.
