[Interview] My interview with Narumi
#31
Miho is the only one I know of who mentioned Destrose freely in one of the early Lovebites interviews. But then again, she was there until the end. Just like Narumi. If I'm remembering my Destrose history correctly, even Mina left before those two did.
For those who are interested in that sort of thing, my collection on Discogs.com.

S'like I said, I still think Mina told every new member:"The first rule of Destrose is: You do not talk about DESTROSE. The second rule of Destrose is: You DO NOT TALK ABOUT DESTROSE!" Big Grin

Then again Snake to Revive is definitely a nod to Destrose, as is most of Mina's recent covers. Haruna's Lovebites song (the only one in Japanese) Bravehearted was I believe also written for Destrose.

Narumi stated that she left Destrose due to creative differences. Haruna (and some of the others) are still Mina followers on twitter, and left the band on pretty good terms with a big end of the year farewell concert for her.

Mina did in fact "leave due to illness" before the band was declared on indefinite hiatus, but near as I can tell the only lineup changes after that was Sato Ava leaving music entirely and Ibuki doing supporting vocals for the last couple gigs. There was a guitarist named Miki at the end as 2nd guitarist with Narumi, but I have no idea if she was official or support.

Very appropriate timing to release this interview now, in conjunction with Narumi taking 2018 EP OTY honors.
