I have the Varioustorm single and thought it was decent if nothing earth-shattering. Nao's vocal is probably the best thing about it. Anyway - these guys are opening at the Mahatma show I'm going to so I'll get a sneak preview - the show is a week before the CD gets released.

I found the Varioustorm to be pretty enjoyable, but yeah, Nao was the best part of that. Not sure if that band was a one-time thing or not.

Debating whether I want to get it this year or next.

they mentioned a new live where they'll be playing a new song, so I guess it's ongoing for now.

Just saw these - sounded good if fairly standard power metal fare. The guitarists are very good though, like a pair of duelling Yngwies, lots of harmony lead played (in some cases) at light speed, not easy to pull off live so cleanly as they managed. Anyway, I picked up the CD and will post thoughts on it once I get back next week and can rip it to MP3.
