Haven't they been around for a few years now?

I guess that means their drummer can join te' now.

I think they've been around for 10 years. I notice their bassist is aquarifa's support bassist. I guess I can assume After Six Passport is gonna be a full-time thing now.

cms' guitarist said he'll continue making music. No idea what their vocalist will do.
Damn, that's longer than I thought. I'm not into them, but I imagine a lot of people will be disappointed.

Yeah, I just got into them, so I'm a bit disappointed. Mind you, most of these bands are lucky if they get to 2 EPs and a full-length before the plug is pulled.

New Atlantis Airport sample. Wish these bands would release the full thing. Single is a venue-release too (the story of my life). Sounds pretty good though.
All-female pop/rock band CREA announced a new single "GO+AHEAD/Flap×Slap!" which will be released on Dec 14th.

No idea if it'll be venue-fodder or a Tower-exclusive again (like their last one). Still surprised they haven't signed to Rami's label yet (they're in the same circle of bands).

あいくれ (Aikure) announced they'll be releasing their first nation-wide release MCD in the spring of 2017.

I posted them in the J-Rock thread and I recall their earlier stuff either being venue-fodder or out of print. Releases at indie distros over there (which you need a shopping service to use) don't stay in print very long. Even stuff at Tower Records and Disk Union don't last very long.

Cinema Staff is releasing a new EP called "Vektor E.P." on Nov 30th. May be a good time for me to get into this band. Pretty cool bass on this. Doesn't seem to be the full video, some obnoxious editing towards the end.
Hey that was really good. I guess I'm going to commit myself to picking up some of their stuff now. Also, that song has a really odd structure. It was almost totally linear. Interesting.

I noticed they're a pretty respected band around Monochrome Heaven and I can see why. Apparently their discography is pretty consistent (earlier stuff supposedly a bit better than their major label stuff), so I can blindly buy without fear.

Its really disturbing how many bands they have over there. I wonder where they get all the rehearsal space.

The indie scene there is apparently huge.

Another one from the Vektor EP - sounds pretty awesome. Fuck, if I discovered this a week ago I would've penciled in that CD Japan order. Oh well Laugh
