Silver Ash (銀色灰塵) - LivingForTomorrow - 06-17-2019

These guys were apparently China's first "visual rock" band, formed in 2000. They soon signed to the label Jingwen's sub-label Scream Records, and released a single, a full (self-titled) album, as well as multiple other singles after that. Their fame, however, slowly fizzled out as the love for kote kei died out in the early 00s, and they left the label in 2005. They played a live with La'cryma Christi in 2006, but nothing really happened after that.
In 2011, the band released a new single named "Pretty But Evil" seemingly from nowhere, as well as saying that there would be more happening, but nothing happened at all. Now, their official website is down, their Facebook page is dead since 2016, and their Weibo could just as well not have existed. Did I expect anything? No. Is it still a bummer? Yes.

Gee, this song (月殘 or Lunar Eclipse) really reminds me of one specific late-90s Japanese band...
